The United Way of Oxford, Butler County United Way and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati—Middletown Area are requesting that all funded agencies, programs, initiatives and community partners provide a link (United Way 211 Database Butler County: on their websites with access to the Butler County United Way 211 Database (managed by the United Way of Greater Cincinnati). Access to this link will provide consumers with a direct line to resources throughout Butler County and the surrounding area. We are also asking that the following statement accompany the link:

United Way 211 is an information and referral hotline that provides access to services including: basic human services, healthcare resources, services for children, youth and families, support for older adults and persons with disabilities and employment supports. About five years ago, the United Way of Butler County, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati—Middletown Area and the United Way of Oxford, Ohio and Vicinity formed a collaborative to fund a United Way 211 initiative that would serve all residents of Butler County with their all-encompassing, comprehensive information and referral services. The needs addressed and referrals provided vary from service area to service area, but are rather consistent in terms of areas of need. Since 2013, the top five needs in Oxford and the surrounding townships have been in the areas of utility assistance, food pantries, rent assistance, financial assistance and homeless shelters.
